Ceramics and the sea,
They are a mirror where I escape.
Almost all my work looks in one direction; the sea. I have always had a very strong bond with him and he is present in the memories of my childhood. The wind, the rocks, the salt; Freedom, silence …
I’ve shared the greatest, I’ve been weeping, crying, and has always made me sprout the closest and most sensitive part of myself.
I remember having a senseless, overwhelmed sensitivity that, over the years, with adult life, it has been hidden. About 50 years ago, ceramics, as in a circular path, connects me again and makes my work show all this inner world.
